Mission Statement
Our mission is to uplift individuals and families experiencing homelessness, poverty, and hardship by providing essential goods, supportive services, and meaningful connections to resources and community. Through compassionate outreach, dedicated volunteers, and the power of people coming together, The Village strives to meet immediate needs, restore dignity, nurture hope, and remind every person that they matter. We believe that when we care for one another, we build a stronger village for us all.Vision
We envision a world where every person has access to the necessities, support, and opportunities they need to live with dignity and hope. The Village aspires to create a compassionate, connected community where people are met with understanding rather than judgment, where needs are met with action, and where every helping hand makes a difference. By bringing neighbors, volunteers, and community partners together, we hope to build a future where no one has to navigate life's hardest moments alone.
At The Village, our values are more than words. They guide how we serve, how we treat one another, and how we show up for our community.
-
We meet people where they are, offering kindness, patience, and understanding without allowing circumstances to define a person's worth.
-
We believe meaningful change happens when people come together. Every volunteer, supporter, partner, and neighbor has something valuable to contribute.
-
We believe everyone deserves respect, safety, and the opportunity to be heard. We serve people as neighbors, not as labels or circumstances.
-
We turn compassion into action by sharing essential resources, participating in outreach events, and connecting people with meaningful support.
-
We strive to do more than meet immediate needs. We want to help people discover resources, build connections, and find opportunities for a brighter future.
-
We believe even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Every meal shared, essential item provided, and hour volunteered is an opportunity to bring hope to someone who needs it.
Welcome to The Village
A place where compassion becomes action and no neighbor has to stand alone.
At The Village, we believe that caring for one another is what makes a community strong. We are dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing homelessness, hardship, and unmet basic needs by providing essential resources, connecting people with supportive services, and creating opportunities for our community to come together.
Whether you are seeking assistance, looking for a way to give back, or hoping to make a difference in someone else's life, there is a place for you here.
Through every volunteer hour, every donated item, and every hand extended in kindness, we are building something bigger than ourselves: a community rooted in compassion, dignity, and hope.
Because it takes a village to make a difference—and everyone deserves to be part of one.
Meet the Creator of the Matthew 28:20 Project
Hi, I’m Jacqueline, the creator of Matthew 28:20 Project.
I created this project from a simple belief: no one should have to walk through life feeling forgotten, unsupported, or alone.
Matthew 28:20 says, “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” That verse reminds me that we are called to be present for one another—to show compassion, offer support, and be a source of hope when someone needs it most.
Matthew 28:20 Project is my way of putting that belief into action.
My vision is to build a community where people can come together to support children, families, individuals experiencing hardship, and anyone who simply needs someone in their corner. Whether it’s providing essential supplies, creating mentorship opportunities, encouraging young people, or connecting people with resources, I believe small acts of compassion can create lasting change.
I don’t believe one person can do everything. But I do believe everyone can do something.
And sometimes, that something can change someone’s entire life.
Welcome to the Matthew 28:20 Project.
Let’s be the village.
